So, our original plan was to go to a fashion show, have dinner & a drink, then go clubbing. Well this is what happened instead. Prepare for a long post, since we ended doing a lot. lol
We stood in a huge line that went around the block and to who knows. (This is the Cosmogirl fashion style event) The flyer already said it was limited space and basically first come first served. Well to get in, all you had to do was email them with your name, email address, etc. I did. But they never responded (I guess I was too late). Others got a response and they had these Cosmogirl wristbands. My friends & I didn’t, but we talked to the woman at the door and she said we could stay in line. But it didn’t matter anyway because they reached capacity before they even reached us. So people with wristbands didn’t even get to get in. But we did see Forever the Sickest Kids, and The Academy Is… was the surprise band. Brody Jenner, the host of this event, was there too but I couldn’t snap a picture.
Then, we went to Cloister Cafe anyway, but just earlier than planned. Had sandwiches, pasta, salmon, etc. I had a Cosmopolitan and Mirena & Jeff had Apple Martinis. Then, we shared a delicious Chocolate Mousse cake. Yum! So, we’re not expected to be at Club Deville until 11pm, and it was about 9:30 by the time we finished.
We sat in front of Ben&Jerry’s, just chilling for like half an hour - people watching. Then, we went to St. Alp’s Teahouse until about 11. Went to Club Deville. But we decided to leave because the crowd wasn’t the type we’d really hang out with. (Like they were the beachy, preppy, blonde type people) Plus, there were hardly any guys! So we roamed the streets lol. Went to the Virgin Record Store to browse but got bored, so we went to Max Brenner to sit until like 1am. We had tons of crazy people talk to us randomnly all night. That was basically our night lol.
